Moravian regional museum
The long-term installation of the new permanent exhibitions Puppet Art and Traditional Culture in Moravia in the Mirror of Time in the Palace of Noblewomen of the Moravian Museum in Brno presented us with a challenge of a completely different nature than the classical exhibitions. The difficult part of the project was that we had to cope with changes in the course of the work, such as a change in the approved way of installation of the exhibits and a new concept of presentation, which we had to solve in a short time.
In the end, we managed to create an installation that respects the character of the historic building and at the same time represents a modern presentation of museum expositions to give the exhibits themselves a special appearance. We cooperated on the project with the general contractor UNISTAV, the architectural office Radko Květ, the designers Atelier 99, the construction supervisor COSTI and the curators of MZM.
